Blue Sky Texas: A Burger Haven in Lubbock

Went for a 2nd time tonight. Was fairly busy at 7PM but we were able to find a seat. Ordered two burgers, small Cheese fries and an small onion rings. Everything was spot on and delicious. There is plenty of parking and even though they are busy, you usually get your food in a reasonable time. I would definitely recommend this place. Be warned it's a little pricey.

We visited 2/29/20 after a long day out with sports tournaments. We were very hungry and Blue Sky sounded yummy. It did not disappoint. The burger and chicken fried steak were delicious and restorative. The ice tea bar offered several flavors and we tried coconut-refreshing and sweet. We didn’t have to wait long for our order to be processed. The restaurant was busy but there was plenty of parking and the lot was well lit. An employee was busy keeping tables cleaned off and sanitized. Patrons looked relaxed and happy. We had a good experience and feel confident recommending it to others.

good food. great atmosphere. great for groups. Food is usually pretty fast coming out. they have added to the tea choices since last time i was here. Burgers are great. try the green chili cheese fries. you can't go wrong. Inside can get a little loud, but it's just that kind of place. hang out, eat and have a great time.

Definitely a contender for one of the best burgers in town. Cooked fresh, just a little medium, with melty cheese and fresh veggies on a toasty bun. Add some grilled jalapenos, and it's . The onion rings are a must. Even if you don't like onion, just try them. You might change your mind! A little pricy, but you'll get what you pay for. Delicious.

The staff here are amazing. A couple of weeks ago my daughter graduated and we needed a place to eat the last minute. There’s 24 of us and blue sky made it possible. The manager was amazing. Food was good. My family from out of town loved this place. I definitely would recommend them. Thank you, blue sky!!

This was probably the best meal I've had in Lubbock. Wife and I both ordered the steak and fries special. Best hamburger steaks ever. The queso all over them was fantastic. The fries were done just right and very tasty. Tables were clean, the owner and other employees extremely pleasant.

Nice place, great atmosphere, and quick friendly service. Unfortunately, the food left a bit to be desired. I ordered the blue sky & fries. The fries were soggy, a bit overdone, and were a bit off taste. I would venture to say that they were in the top 5 of the worst fries I have had in the past 50 years. The twin burgers were heavily salted and a bit on the greasy side. The cheese sticks were however light and airy and I would order again. The onion rings were very close to the fries, and the fried mushrooms were saved by the great tasting ranch. All in all, I would not vist again.
